Really, at the heart of things, I’m just like you.  I’m a dreamer.  A doer.  But also?  A wife.  A mom.  An artist.  A lover of ice cream… with a side of chips and salsa, pretty please.

I’m on that same journey that brought you here.  I’m on the search for something more in my life.  A bigger meaning.  A more powerful purpose.  A way to give back the gifts that have been given to me.  I’m looking to fulfill that insatiable thirst for growth, gumption, and goodness… and I’m guessing you are too.

So really?  We’re already a dream team.  You and me.

There was a time where I didn’t even know you existed.  I was blissfully teaching art to elementary students and had over two thousand of them come through my classroom in ten years.  Impacting those young lives was so incredible for me… but a series of life events led me to see that God has something more for me, and for my family.

When I left the classroom to pursue photography full time, I sadly resigned myself to the idea that my teaching days were over…. but this funny thing happened.  The farther away I got from my four classroom walls, the more lives I began to reach… and teach.  In workshops.  Mentoring sessions.  As a featured guest on the CreativeLive stage.  Through pro photographer networks and speaking engagements.  With my clients, friends and intern…  suddenly, my teeny classroom became a whole lot bigger and I realized that I’d be able to inspire and encourage a different audience.

You.

As I design each of these courses, you are on my heart.  I want you to walk away from my workshops feeling confident.  I want you to find your voice and your value.  I want your creative fire to be fueled and I want your life to have a deeper purpose; be it a photographer, business owner, or Executive Memory Maker (aka: Mom).  Whatever your story, I’m so blessed by you and happy that you found Immerse Workshops.  Because?  I’ve been waiting for you.

So here we are.  You and me.  You’re just as much a part of my story as I’m going to be a part of yours.  I’m going to challenge you, I’m going to share with you all that I know, but {and I think most importantly}, I’m going to be your biggest cheerleader along your journey.
